Hearing Instrument Specialist
Sarah Chittum is a Hearing Instrument Specialist. Sarah is originally from Lufkin, Texas and moved to Galveston Area in 2014. Sarah became licensed as a Repair Technician when she began working at a private Audiology clinic in 2002. As soon as her mentoring audiologist saw her passion for saving hearing lives and how she excelled in patient care, she received her licensing from the state of Texas as a Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser. Sarah was drawn to the profession because not only did she enjoy repairing hearing aids and becoming the “hero of the day” for whomever needed to hear better that day, but she really loved the way a patient would light up when hearing again for the first time.
Sarah strives to show her patients compassion and love as she believes her patients are friends like family.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Sarah loves swimming, camping and relaxing to the sound of the waves at the beach. She also loves hiking to see beautiful waterfalls and seeing her flowers bloom.
Cheri Peck-Saville is an Audio Technician. She is originally from South Williamsport, PA and moved to Houston, TX in 1994. Cheri began working in the hearing industry in 2016 and was drawn to the profession because of her Uncle who owned his own hearing aid business for many years, whom inspired three others family members to also become involved in the hearing industry.
What Cheri loves most about saving hearing lives is the way the patients eyes light up when the hearing aids are placed on their ears and they realize everything that they have been missing. She strives every day to work with her patients to form a bond/friendship with them. Her patients are more like family and she wants them to know she is always there to help and encourage them by working together as a team in saving their hearing. The girls in this office are all great. Very knowledgeable, helpful and fun to be around. Even though I live 2 hours away and there are NewSound Centers closer to my home, I always make the drive to this office whenever I need anything. I'm very happy with their service.ben richardson, on Google
Sarah, Sherri and Marcy are the best to sit down with you and work through your hearing aid needs. They are always helpful to answer any questions and keep me supplied with batteries. I am a happy customer.Gary Johnson, on Google
The care and expertise was excellent. That has been over shadowed by their billing department, who is completely unresponsive to communication. Once they got THEIR money, they have not responded to questionable billing.Joyce Hagen, on Google
